Building a Culture that Engages the Workforce to Make a Meaningful Impact
Culture isn’t just a facet of an organization – it is the organization. Culture is built through shared learning and mutual experience. Yet shaping the ideal culture can be difficult. Our strategists and practitioners help you focus on a problem, challenge, or goal and investigate culture’s impact. We support you as you translate values into specific expected behaviors so that new behavioral “norms” are reached and re-enforced – allowing real culture change to take place.
Our culture change solutions include a broad spectrum of individual, team, and organizational level interventions aimed at aligning the values and capabilities of the workforce to the organization’s requirements for future success. Our solutions begin and end with your desired results, goals, and mission-focused outcomes.
Federal Government Culture Research Study
Management Concepts has partnered with Human Synergistics and the National Academy of Public Administration (NAPA) to explore, survey, and analyze issues related to organizational culture and methods for improvement, specific to Federal departments/agencies.
The goal of the research study is to create a baseline set of culture data that will engage agencies in new ways to use the strength of culture to improve government performance. It is open to 30 Federal departments/agencies; each agency will be asked to identify a minimum of 30 employees to take a current-culture survey and an ideal-culture survey.
At the conclusion of the data collection, the study partners will work with an Advisory Group, made up of NAPA Academy Fellows, to provide thought leadership on findings and recommendations. NAPA will host a release event, serving as an opportunity for senior government leaders to share their individual experiences with organizational culture, as well as offer lessons learned to other Federal leaders, managers, and employees.
This is your opportunity to be part of forming a view on the state of culture in Federal departments and agencies while gaining insights on how to integrate culture into your organization’s change and development initiatives. To become part of this survey, please click here.
