American Council on Education (ACE) College Credit

ACE’s College Credit Recommendation Service (CREDIT) has evaluated and recommended college credit for numerous Management Concepts courses. As the major coordinating body for U.S. higher education institutions, ACE provides leadership and a unifying voice for key higher education issues, influencing public policy through advocacy, research, and program initiatives.

ACE evaluates formal courses and examinations taken in the workplace, allowing adult learners to receive academic credit for their professional experiences. For over 30 years, colleges and universities have relied on ACE to provide course equivalency information.

Important Note on Credit Recommendations

Please note that while ACE provides credit recommendations, colleges and universities are not required to grant the exact amount of credit recommended. Institutions have the discretion to award credit based on their own policies and evaluations.

Refer to the ACE website for the list of Management Concepts courses that have been awarded college-level credit recommendations by ACE. As ACE reviews additional courses and awards college credit recommendations, it will publish descriptions of those courses in its annual edition of the National Guide to College Credit for Workforce Training.

ACE reviews and makes recommendations on each course based on a variety of factors such as course length, level of difficulty, student achievement reviews, knowledge gained by satisfactory completion of the course, required readings and reports, and writings or performance demonstrations.

Each institution— and in many cases each academic department within the institution— sets its own policies for granting credit. The college admissions office should be able to guide students to the official responsible for deciding credit recommendations.

Upon receiving your request, Management Concepts will submit any completed courses that provide ACE credit to ACE’s portal Credly.
You will receive an email from Credly to accept your badges.
To accept your badges, create a profile with Credly.
From your Credly profile, you can submit a request to have your ACE credits submitted to your college or university by entering the institution’s email address.

You should inform the appropriate ACE program office promptly. Lack of familiarity with the American Council on Education (ACE) College Credit Recommendation Service may be the reason for a college’s refusal to accept records or credit recommendations. A phone call or letter from the appropriate ACE program office to the college may alleviate that problem.
